“The earth laughs in flowers.”
― Ralph Waldo Emerson
I visited BHUTAN in the second week of August and I must tell you that it was a great time to be there. Officially it was a monsoon month but none of my plans were washed away by rains. In fact, nature was at its gorgeous best. The country looked immensely green and vibrant. I brought back beautiful flowery pictures from the happy country. I wouldn’t say Bhutan was full of flowers at that time of the year but I did manage to click some delicious flower photographs while traveling from Thimphu to Haa Valley via Punakha and Paro. High in the Himalayas is the kingdom of Bhutan and it is really special. I was absolutely impressed with it.
Flowers make me irrationally and truly happy. My friends know that I really love photographing flowers and I get mesmerized with their amazing colors. I get fascinated by their delicate details and I find every flower eye-soothing, heart-warming and photo-worthy. I am still an amateur as a photographer but ever since I have bought my new DSLR – Canon 1300D, I have realized that I thoroughly enjoy capturing flowers. I have selected some lovely quotes to go with my picture below. All of them are my favorites. Do let me know which one did you like.

Just living is not enough. One must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower.
