Well, I think we all love to work in a great environment. In my viewpoint a workplace should be a real happening place. It should inspire and make us feel happy. We spend a major chunk of our life in these organizations and thus workplace should be a place where one can constantly laugh and talk to each other and work as a team. On a serious note, the place should buzz with energy and like-mindedness.
Honestly, those that dictate closeted culture and military rules are suffocating. And of course I have never liked a prying boss. Gone are the days when we had only two kinds of job options, Government and MNCs. Now is the time to experiment. I can say this because I gave up my MNC job to join a start-up and later work as a freelancer. In my case it’s all about my choice. I prefer satisfaction over rich pay-packets. Last when I visited Google’s office in Gurgaon or Skyscanner’s in Singapore, I had absolutely fallen for their cool setups and cozy work culture.
