Z to A of a Skyscanning Day, Come along for the trip…

The above details speak for themselves and if you have been reading Pendown, you must have read about my previous experiences. Now that I have traveled to 7 countries in last 2 years, the travel insect has reached my brains… The heart agrees for no less and Skyscanner is its latest crush…. They are helping me get cheap tickets…. believe me!!! I have already listed my wish countries and I am waiting to get the lowest prices….In the tech savvy age we have it all at a click or a scroll. You want them too…. just scan it here but read the below before you disperse….

Wasting no time, lets Scan the event that brought me closer to it. Below is my unique take on it!

Moi is in silky brownish coat with ma gang at the blogging meet.

Z:  Zeal is the word for me! The mention of Indimeet in the city fills me with enough zeal to blog and it pumps up enough energy in me that stays till the next meet. Thus, if the Zombie Apocalypse happens, I will survive…..And I wish to attend Zillion blogger meets before I die…

Y: No one asks whY when you go for an Indimeet. Friends get jealous when they read the FB status, parents encourage to go ahead and inlaws are proud of having a blogger bahu in the family. So permission granted as always. And I traveled from far, Faridabad to be there.

X:  X factor, we Bloggers have oodles of it in us, . We write a post every day, go to events and give feedback right on the spot. Thus the brands love us and loathe us both because we speak the truth.

W: Wait for none, just run to grab the prizes…What were in the cute little boxes with silver paper? Wristband pendrives.. I won too for my tweet!!!!  Creative is the word…Skyscanner gave great mementos.

V: Visit Places… See the World…. See near and far beauties…. Skyscanner aims to do that… thats the motto…

U: Universal truth it is… we are expanding.. This was the largest meet ever with 400 bloggers under one roof. Kudos!!!!

T: Travel, Travel, Travel… Yes!!!! Skyscanner told us that they have been here for a while and now they are here in Asia to help us plan our travels… And more from T… the Tweepers made the best of the selfies.. One of the first activities was to get together, click selfies and tweet the reason to travel…people won lots of prizes.

S: Skyscanner has its HQ in Scotland.…. Click here to know lots about it and book your flights . They help you browse flights, hotels and cars in the best prizes. So whose stopping you to scan the globe… The aim of the event was to spread the buzz about them.

R: Under Rahul’s hat, our team manager, we did this activity as shown in the pic below which was a team game. Skychainers was our name. We were asked to start it from the first location and then go on, scale the whole trip in cheapest prizes and be back where we start…And we did in 2 lakhs thats it… sounds like a dream trip na…? I told you we do just too many awesome things at the blogging meets…

Q:  Question pops and we get ready to answer…When it was asked to talk about one unique experience of traveling. I told everyone about Riyadh and my experiences there as a woman… However, Oslo was also one of its kinds…

P:  Bloggers posted crazy pics to participate in the selfie activity…best 4 were shortlisted and two guys one who gave a crazy reason to travel… 

O: Oodles of energy flowed in the hall. We ate, drank, talked about blogs, app, put around some jazzy activities too. It all refreshed me absolutely!

N: Never say never… anything can happen at the Indimeets and one can end up doing everything and anything.. you may crib that it wasn’t as good as the last one or this or that… but the truth is like always this one was Super Fun!!

M: Multilingual site it is.. yes Skyscanner.. they are set to scan the world and take us along…. the site helps us out in many languages…not one but many…

L: Le Meridian was the venue…The hall room was lavish, the food was great and especially it was big enough to house us all… largest number of bloggers flocked in together..

K:  Kavitha Gnanamurthy, Senior Marketing Manager at Skyscanner Singapore was a sweet female who told us from A to Z about Skyscanner. She kept it simple, short and stimulating!!! Kevin Foo, who is the Head of Communications APAC at Skyscanner gave us a talk too.

J:  Jump with joy… yes thats what we do… we do crazy things at the blogging meet.. and here too we did the same…When the winners win they just can’t believe that they have grabbed some cool freebies… and this time it was a domestic ticket and more to come there is a contest to win international and domestic flights… courtesy Skyscanner…. They are true to their words… making us travel already!!

I:  I loved the meet…thats why I am writing the experience..and also it is always good to know about something really interesting… Skyscanner says they don’t send spam mails regularly but only pop in the inbox when the prices get lowest of our dream destinations… this is a cool idea... must say… the USP…

H: Hashtag #skyscanning trended on tweeter!! We made it happen…the HIGH TEA gave us time to banter and network again… we bloggers love that..

G:  Grabbing the mike to talk is something we all love to do… but we equally enjoy hearing others when they grab the mic…. I loved when bloggers talke about their unique travelling experiences… solo traveler, Korean stay of 7 yrs, a food blogger who loves to talk about food from different countries.. Just Woww…

F: Friends making and FUN. I did meet a lot of people for the first time and it was so much fun to know them and have a word with them beyond their blogs..

E:  Easy traveling… We heard the Skyscanning team say it often.. They are actually making it very easy for us. 

D: downloaded the app… we all did it right there at the meet.

C: Connect… we all connected and bonded in some way or the other at the meet.. More,  the Skyscanner site tells us that they connect us to the airline or travel agent to make our booking directly with them (no middlemen, so we always get the lowest price). The airline or travel agent then pay them a small referral fee. Fair deal!!!!

B: Blogger love to blog…Everyone at the event had so much to talk and share. The experience is always so unique to meet the faces and creative minds behind the blogs…thus I love the meets…Skyscanner invited more and it was merrier..

A: Anoop was our moderator from the Inditeam as always and he knows it well to keep us on our toes…by popping questions and giving out gifts… As always he was entertaining and engaging at the Skyscanner meet too.
